Although we tend to focus our saving efforts in the direction of saving cash, saving time is also on our checklist – after all, time is money. With this in mind, we came up with our top three features to include in a kitchen to help you save on both time and money. Could you incorporate these into your kitchen design?

LED lighting

LED lights can be used to create stylish lighting built into the ceiling or walls of your kitchen and give a brilliant bright light.  They are cheaper to run than normal lights and last for years so you can save on time spent replacing them too! For more information, see: here.

Splashbacks

Super stylish splashbacks can be used as a feature in the kitchen, but they’ll also hopefully help you make some savings. They are harder wearing than normal tiles so less likely to need replacing and they are far easier to wipe clean when you are in a hurry.

Linoleum or vinyl

Far cheaper than hard wood flooring, lino or vinyl is quick and cheap to lay and easy to clean. It can also be bought to fit in with your colour scheme and updated inexpensively.
